You may want to disable APM in your BIOS. HTH, Helmut -- Please do not feed my mailbox, Swen still does his job well |

| Ya, it's right, the server slept. >Ok for the APM, but.. with my ex-debian, I hadn't this. Why ? Debian may have been doing enough stuff in the background to avoid the APM from kicking in. I dunno if that's what debian does, but Open is acting differently. Don't stress yourself over why.. just fix the problem. Get into BIOS, and DISABLE any power management. You'll be working sweet then. |

I just said I was surprised that openBSD, wich is server-oriented, enable the APM wake mode. That's all Thank-you for your answer, I will turn off APM in the bios. And good night FireWave |

Many people use Open on their desktop, so it's not that evident wether it should be enabled by default or not (it's easier to let the feature in, than to take it out - and it's easy to disable it too) |

I thinks this option are in kernel's options. So, no matter, I turn off APM on the BIOS. Thx all; FireWave, F4EPA |
