I have googled for this but get only 3 hits,
all the same, but not containing an example.
I am trying to figure out how to run fxtv
with /dev/bktr1 as the video input.
Any hints?

OK. I found an example, but I still don't
see how to soecify that fxtv use /dev/bktr1.

Does fxtv have a man page? "man fxtv"?

I tried that. Fstat shows that fxtv is using bktr0

I also tried creatinf tuner1, but then fxtv complains that tuner1 is
not configured. Actually, the VC card I am using has no tuner. I think
the problem.

Yes. I have read and re-read it, but it always looks the same.
I also read the much more extensive documentation in /usr/local/share/doc/fxtv
and I finally found the file Fxtv, but I see no way to specify bktr1 as the
capture device in any of these files. I also went through the fxtv source code,
but I have not found where the input VC device is set. I will keep looking though.
It has to be in there somewhere.
