| Hello, I have a little computer (p200/64mb) with OpenBSD 3.5 since a few days and I wanted to test somes games available in the packages. I can take as examples prboom-2.2.4 and lbreakout2-2.2.2p0, both games uses SDL and SDL_Mixer, I have the same problem with both. I have a delay of almost one second in my sound. For ogg playing that's not a big deal but for doom it's not fun to get the gun's sound after the shot. My soundcard is SB128 compatible (es1371) : eap0 at pci0 dev 11 function 0 "Ensoniq AudioPCI97" rev 0x08: irq 10 ac97: codec id 0x83847609 (SigmaTel STAC9721/23) ac97: codec features 18 bit DAC, 18 bit ADC, SigmaTel 3D I don't have this delay when using for example, ogg123, I think the problem is coming from SDL/SDL_Mixer.
