Sound on Thinkpad X22, not working.

Default Sound on Thinkpad X22, not working.

I can't play any audio files on my system. I have 3.8 release
installed. cat filename > /dev/audio gives no audible output, (tried
multiple files.. .au,txt, ect). System bell and such works fine. My
dmesg is:

If you mute all your inputs how do you expect to hear anything on the
output?

They all read "off" now.

inputs.line.mute=off
inputs.cd.mute=off
inputs.aux.mute=off
inputs.dac.mute=off

Still no luck though.

inputs.aux.mute=on --->off

works now.
