| I made an user account (alpha.beta) on my own server by means of a SSH-connection. When I try to login, using the new account, over a SSH-connection everything works fine. The problems start when I use that account direct on the server...I get a "Login Incorrect". I guess this problem has to do with the fact that I used a "." in a username. Is there a solution to this problem? If not is it possible to transfer the data (and rights!) of one user to another? |

The dot is basicly used for NIS with everything after the dot is basicly the NIS domain. Put its basicly possible |
