| I know it is -current and probably not everything is meant to work smoothly and I am also aware that this damn firmware is not supported by OpenBSD devs. Here are the facts though. I am running the latest snapshot and I have installed v3.0 of the required proprietary firmware. When I do ifconfig -M iwi0 I get this: iwi0: timeout waiting for firmware initialization to complete iwi0: could not load boot firmware iwi0: timeout waiting for firmware initialization to complete iwi0: could not load boot firmware Keep in mind that v2.3 works well under OpenBSD -stable. So, if you are planning to join -current any time soon I can verify that your wireless card is not going to work. |
