To further confuse the issue > mpg123 plays song36.mp3 just fine. are you using /dev/sound or /dev/audio? and how do you play the sample? if the sample is mono 8 bit, the default settings for /dev/audio should play it correctly, but if interpreted as 16 bit stereo for whatever reason, it'd play 4 times too fast, just as seen. -- we don't run washington and no one really does |
