Well, if it is an useless and unnecessary task, it is usually already done by netbsd people ... ;-) Just ask google about "cross compiling netbsd" or have a look at this page: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~p.../hp/cross.html (How to Cross-Compile your NetBSD Kernel under Linux) I have no idea how much additional work you will have to invest to adopt this howto to openbsd, but if it is possible with netbsd, it should be possible with openbsd, too. However, installing vmware or some other simulator/emulator on linux and running openbsd on that virtual machine seems to be more reasonable. Sven |
