Hi,

downloaded the patch and compiled it in via make build.

I then cp /usr/src to /tmp and run a homebrewed c-program to rename
every file containing a 'c' to containing a 'C'. After that i mv'd
the tree around.
Worked perfectly so far.
Now i'm back to regular use of my system.

I assumed that this patch would make it into a snapshot sooner
or later so i did not apply it immediatly.

It would be nice for us regular folks to know
1) If a patch will be in the next snapshot or not.
2) Which part of the source-tree to rebuild if 1) does not apply.

This would make testing easier.

Alf
