You can equip it with fast or cheap (GXT135) graphics cards. It's noise level is acceptable (something which cannot be said of other boxes sold as "workstations" these days). For a small workgroup you'd have to put in enough memory, of course. It's also the last box in IBM's RS6k/pSeries line-up that still supports AIX 4.3.x, if that is an issue for you. |
