Default Is 44P-170 a Good Workgroup Server?

I found a 44P-170 pretty cheap ($425). I'm thinking of using it as a
small workgroup server- mostly for some testing and light development.
Any comments? They tell me that it supports the most recent version of
AIX.

The machine is OK both as a workstation and server, IMHO
(I'm writing these lines on such a box).
You can equip it with fast or cheap (GXT135) graphics cards.
It's noise level is acceptable (something which cannot be said of
other boxes sold as "workstations" these days).
For a small workgroup you'd have to put in enough memory, of course.
It's also the last box in IBM's RS6k/pSeries line-up that still supports
AIX 4.3.x, if that is an issue for you.
