| I have 2 boxes, one an old RS6000 running AIX 4.3.3 and another a new P-Series 615 running AIX 5.2. How accurate is the internal system clock on both boxes? Can it log values down to micro-seconds? Tom. |

The rs/6000 has an internal clock which gives you a resolution in microseconds. It is unlike the system clock -in that it is a seperate piece of hw. You can expect a much better resolution from pseries hw. regards -kamal |
