| Does anyone know if the new AIX 5.2 will run on a PSeries 620 type 7025- 6F1? I have heard the 5.2 will not run on some of the older systems. Just wondering it he 620 is consider too old to run it. Thanks, David -- Posted via http://dbforums.com |

| The 6F1 runs with AIX 5.2. Try 'bootinfo -p' on this system. If the answer is chrp (Common Hardware Reference Platform) then it is ready for AIX 5.2. If the output is rspc or rs6k then it will only support AIX 5.1 and earlier levels (AIX 4.3.3) . Stephan -- Posted via http://dbforums.com |
