| Take a look at SPAM v2 for AIX. What is SPAM v2? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SPAM v2 is a tool for analyzing configuration changes, and comparing differences on AIX systems. It checks for critical, and non-critical system configuration changes, and reports those changes to a centralized repository. SPAM v2 exposes both the noticeable, and un-noticeable changes, while recording those changes autonomously. With System to System Configuration Comparison (S2SCC), SPAM v2 can verify, and compare differences between multiple AIX images. SPAM v2 Features ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SPAM v2 has features that allow businesses to get a better handle on their AIX system changes. · Historical management of all, AIX level, system configuration changes. SPAM v2 identifies, manages, and records changes to a centralized repository. This provides historical record of changes, and the ability to reconcile dates, and change occurrences. · Comprehensive daily, and weekly change reports. SPAM v2 provides two types of reports. A daily report, that shows all changes within a 24hour period, and a weekly report showing changes that have occurred within a 7 day period. Both the daily, and weekly reports are generated in a consolidated fashion with the ability to "drill down" into the detail of the changes. · System to System Configuration Comparison (S2SCC)©. SPAM v2 has the ability to compare system configurations against one another. When a consistent configuration is desired, S2SCC provides a solution to verify, and compare differences between multiple systems. http://www.sincall.net |
