| nick delight wrote: > Is it true that AIX development will end after 2009? I would like to know the answer to this also. There is so much I dont know about AIX or Linux and have yet to load the OS to find out for myself. Is there a link that explains the differences between Linux and AIX? I assume AIX is optimized for the pSeries. What I want to do is migrate my sql procedure code from the iSeries to the pSeries. I am not a .NET expert but know more of it than I do Unix. .NET/Windows seems much more integrated than Unix. Will this not be a problem for Unix going forward in terms of writing modular code and reusing components? -Steve |
