Default AIX Lead Admin opening in Boise, Idaho

AIX System Administrator in Boise, Idaho (this is a temp to hire
position with a large retail/food services company). If interested

To be qualified for this position, individuals should have hands-on
experience with AIX administration and/or a minimum of 5 years
experience in two or more UNIX OS's (Solaris, HP, Linux) and a high
aptitude for learning new systems.

Troubleshooting, performance tuning, partitioning, installations,
upgrades and migrations required. Should be familiar with NIM (Network
Installation Manager)

Experience with clustering on IBM specifically HACMP (High Availability
Cluster Multi-Processing), Security hardening and programming in HMC
command line or KSH and Perl.

Candidates must have strong communication and documentation skills and
be able to work effectively in the team as well as independently.

Additional skills: must have excellent VERBAL and written communication
skills, creativity, problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated success
working in a team environment. Must understand process management, be
able to manage multiple priorities, and provide excellent customer
service.
