hi all

after migrating our p650 from aix 5.1 ML08 to aix 5.3, i found the
oslevel -r shows 5300-02. but the aix 5.3 cdroms include the newest AIX
5.3 ML03.

does anybody know how to find out what is disturbing this?

any idea would be appreciated.

oslevel -l <maint level> will return the filesets older than <maint
level>

# oslevel -rl 5300-03

this will show what is backlevel

the result returning from oslevel -rl 5300-03 only shows one fileset
staying in low level.

Recommended ML

bos.docsearch.rte 5.1.0.25 5.3.0.30

after downloading and installing the fileset
bos.docsearch.rte.5.3.0.30.bff, it failed because of missing
bos.docsearch.rte 5.3.0.0 fileset.

how can i get this lower package? i did not find it in aix 5.3 ml03
isntall media.
