Hi all,

Does AIX savevg command prompt for second tape if data is more to fit in
the first tape ?

If yes, then will I find any difficulties in restoring the same VG using
two tapes ?

hi ketsak,

the savevg will ask you to mount additional tapes if required and then
restvg/listvgbackup etc. will do the same on any restores.

Yes to both. Will use multiple media on backup and restore.
