| Hi all, Does someone have experience with AIX5.3 or micropartitioning on one of the new P5 servers, when is a good moment to start with it, after the release of the first maint. package for AIX5.3?(who knows when it is expected to be released). Furthermore, what problems can I expect. rgds Wijnand |

I heard about one problem from a man.... Machine : 570 with micropartitioning, there was partition with 2*0,5 processor, 4GB RAM with Oracle runing, Java application (connecting to Oracle) Tha application was running veeery slow, and after removing "shared proc conf" and adding one physical processor to the partition, it was ok. However I am far from beleving this .... Maybe some one can confirm this ? regards |
