| Hi.. Gurus.. I have the following filesets installed on my pSeries on AIX 5.2 ML 06 /> lslpp -l xlC* Fileset Level State Description ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Path: /usr/lib/objrepos xlC.aix50.rte 7.0.0.4 COMMITTED C Set ++ Runtime for AIX 5.0 xlC.cpp 5.0.2.0 COMMITTED C for AIX Preprocessor xlC.msg.en_US.cpp 5.0.2.0 COMMITTED C for AIX Preprocessor Messages--U.S. English xlC.msg.en_US.rte 7.0.0.0 COMMITTED C Set ++ Runtime Messages--U.S. English xlC.rte 7.0.0.1 COMMITTED C Set ++ Runtime Does this mean that I have both the xlC and C++ compilers installed on my system ? Or is there another product that is required to be installed, in order for me to have the C and C ++ compiler installed on my system.. Thanks |

| Is this something that comes with AIX 5.2 (ML-06), or can you download it for free / as a trial / have to buy,. and if so which is the link to download it ? In your installation cds, you should have a CD containing a copy of gcc and other freeware binaries. If not, you can get it from Bull or AIXPDSLIB |
