Can AIX V5.3 support SP2 Nodes? Any information is appreciated.

should be able to from a hardware perspective. but unless recently
changed, pssp will not support 5.3

Yap. Tried to use 5.3 on PSSP-3.5 , the SPOT Resource creation fails. A few
filesets not in 5.3 OS.

Which wide nodes? AFAIK MCA ones no, PCI ones yes.

Yap. having problem with PSSP 3.5 to work with V5.3. Anyone know what other
software to use? CSM?

Yup, CSM is IBM's replacement for PSSP. There are also other projects
like xCat that are free (Which IBM used until CSM was ready).
