Cannot expand a file system that is part of a Geomirror
geo_chfs -a size=<new number of blocks> has no effect

geo_extendgmd did work and expanded the underlying logical volume by
the required number of pp's

How do you now expand the JFS2 filesystem on both sides of the
Geomirror?

haven't any knowledge about XD, but did you check the
geo_extendgmd went through on both sides? There was an
APAR geo_extendgmd would fail if different maxlp values
were set on the nodes. Check for any differences in the
volumes. Any error/errpt messages?

No effect==(no message && rc==0)?

Try geo_chfs -a size=+<number of blocks to add>
