Is it ok for a server to use shark and fast-t disks at the same time? I
could run the traffic over different HBAs, but will the SDD and RDAC stomp
over each other?

Hi,

yes it is possible, we did it for a long time.

But I've read in some notes for the San Volume Controller (SVC), that
there are minimum requirements for the SDD and RDAC driver levels.
Maybe that hits the ESS too.

Alvin,
I'm using an ESS and three FastTs attached to an xSeries server running
SQL.
Works great!
