| Im running various versions of AIX. when i export graphical installlers to my PC via cygwin i get mangeld characters. 0 shows as * for example. Most of the characters except letters are wrong. Im not sure if this is a cygwin issue, as when i use it with solaris and HPUX the characters work fine .... The settings are: Primary CULTURAL convention ISO8859-15 English (Ireland) [en_IE.8859-15] + Primary LANGUAGE translation ISO8859-1 English (United States) [en_US] + But if i change it to : Primary CULTURAL convention ISO8859-1 English (United States) [en_US] + Primary LANGUAGE translation ISO8859-1 English (United States) [en_US] + All the keys are correct, except backspace doesnt work. however, i need to keep the en_IE setting, as the developers builds will fail otherwise.... How do i set it up so it is using the correct keyboard setting? |
