| When we used aix 4.3.3 , there's not timeout of idle telnet/ssh sessions (we commented out TMOUT line in /etc/profile) But last week we migrated to aix 5.3 , then there's timeout of idle sessios (I checked the /etc/profile, the line TMOUT is still commented out). Why ? |

Why not just set TMOUT to a really high value? Although, to be secure, you probably should disconnect idle sessions. Miles |
