| Have a 7044-170 running AIX 5300-07-02-0806 with an external 7210-025 IBM RAM-DVD drive Using smit to mksysb three days ago it completed a dvd backup okay. Since that mksysb, have installed only Firefox and a network printer. Now today using smit mksysb get the following 0301-152 bosboot: not enough file space to create: /mkcd/cd_fs/25052/ppc/chrp/bootfile.exe /mkcd/cd_fs has 12748 free KB. /mkcd/cd_fs/25052/ppc/chrp/bootfile.exe needs 14261 KB. 0512-300 mkcd: Error in routine: build_boot_images. Using mksysb today under WSM, the dvd backup completes okay. Found this http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...id=isg1IY73635 saying to run a fix to correct this error. The fix refers to 5300-03 ML whereas this machine is at 5300-07 ML. This is just a recent install of AIX 5.3 with 5300-07 ML installed in one go. Advice on how to correct this error in smit mksysb would be appreciated. Thanks Basil |
