Default enclosure attention light is on

Hi,

I encounter power failure at my AIX 5.1 p630 (node2). The machine is
connected to a SSA disk . This SSA disk is shared with another p630
(node1-its a HACMP setup). I notice the enclosure is not affected by
the power failure as is has 2 power supply and it is connected to 2
different power source. I assumed no problem with the SSA disk.
However, I did notice the attention light is on (red color). I managed
to bring up node2 but the attention light still on.

In errpt, it shows like this :
MESSAGE FROM ERRLOGGER COMMAND
"Error Log Analysis has detected error(s) that may require your
attention. enclosure0 SRN 80221 SSA Enclosure"
and
MESSAGE FROM ERRLOGGER COMMAND
"Error Log Analysis has detected error(s) that may require your
attention. ssa0 SRN 45000 IBM SSA 160 SerialRAID Adapter (14109100)"

HACMP is working fine now but I do not know how to check the enclosure
status. Or maybe 1 of the disk inside the enclosure is dead? Can
anyone show me how? I am new with AIX.

Any replies are highly appreciated.

PS:SOrry for my poor language.

This was covered just a few days ago - searching the group can help you
find answers before you even ask! 8-)

Nevertheless, thank you timothy.
Now I managed to check the enclosure and SSA disk status.

Sorry, I did get sloppy myself trying to follow which set of lights you
were talking about. Still, it seems you found the other section of diag
devoted to SSA. That is good.

Cheers.
