Default Error 20E00008 (CMOS corrupted) after installing 5.2

Hi,

I took some spare hours to update my B50 from AIX 5.1-5 to 5.2,
and when I just came back to it I found it continiously rebooting.

In the SMS error log with every reboot an error gets recorded, which
is 20E00008 CMOS corrupted or tampering evident

I do not know, if this is the problems real cause, from watching the
LCD it crashes while creating device nodes - I hope it's not simply
a full root volume, but I don't think it is as I did reinstall from
scratch, not preserving rootvg.

I read through the release notes, but found nothing to update, and the
system's microcode was up to date the last time I checked.

I'll now try another install with some different options, w/o the 4-Y
scsi adapter (dunno if it is supported in a B50, but it worked
and will replace the battery.

I'd be almost eternally thankful for any hints, replacing the system
planar is not what I'm after...
