| I just got a new pseries model 520 and get the following error message whenever I try to any command concerning devices (rmdev, chdev, etc.). 0514-508 Cannot save the base customized information on /dev/ipldevice Any ideas on what could be causing it? Diag says everything is okay and there's nothing in the errrpt. Thanks, Eric |

Perhaps you want to double check that ipldevice is in fact the same device number as the expected device (rhdisk0 and hdisk0?)? |
