Default Fast T unable to create VG

Hi,
I have fastT installed with two paths, all drivers are installed. I can
see the array:
# fget_config -A

---dar0---

dac0 ACTIVE dacNONE ACTIVE
dacNONE-hdisk22

---dar1---

dac1 ACTIVE da05cNONE ACTIVE

When I use lsattr -El I see it as 1.9 TB.
So that is good.

But when I try and create a VG with the hdisk22 , I get:
mkvg Open Failure on hdisk22

Am I missing something ?
Thanks
aix 5.2 ML4

Peter.

I think that implies a problem - I've seen something similar when I
started doing some testing - all the latest 5.3 filesets.
Unfortunately I never had time to investigate further due to other
projects getting priority.

It's my understanding that you should see one dar (r=router) for each
FAStT. Two dacs (c=controller) for each dar.

You must have a path from your AIX box to each controller on the FAStT
(which I think you have). I'd check fileset levels and have a look at
lsdev -C to see if you can see what can be seen down each FC HBA.
