In my system, gated is getting coredumped twodays once im not gettin
why exactly its been restarting
we haven't configured routed. gated.conf file is so clear. im runnin
AIX 5.3 ML-

From core im getting the gated crash due to unable to make lock wit
pid file. its because another instance of gated is been initiate
which refreshed gated.pid file and the gated crashed

im not getting why two days once gated is giving problem.:-
if any one faced a similar problem please clarify me

1) check that routed is not runing or will be started somehow

2) get the time at which the gated crashes.

3) if gated is not need. Disable it.
