Default genucode

I'm trying to update the cdrom firmware before doing a 4.3.3 to 5.1 upgrade.
I downloaded the firmware bin file and unzipped it. Then the documentation
states to download and use GENUCODE to install it. I tried to find it on
the microcode download page but couldn't. I did find a message that
genucode is a feature of AIX 5.1 and higher, but I am still on 4.3.3.
Other documentation says genucode files should be in the microcode bin file
I downloaded, but I only see these files: 40x.readme,
IBM_____CDRM00203.06.0 and dsdata.

Does anyone know how to update this microcode on 4.3.3?

GENUCODE is not a feature of AIX 5L. Do you have the AIX Microcode
Discovery Tool CD? If you, you can download it from IBM, genucode is
on that CD.

Genucode is available there, below the link for the 40x CDROM drive
firmware update.

You can do the CD drive firmware update in 4.3.3 with genucode, no
problem. Done that for about 40 systems. Doesn't take very long.
