| Hello, My AIX workstation has a graphic card with dual outputs: one 15-pin VGA and one DVI. Currently, I can only see my desktop on the 15-pin VGA monitor. Is there a command to extend my desktop to the DVI monitor? Thanks. Anonymous |

Is there a command to extend my desktop to the DVI monitor? Most likely not. What framebuffer is it exactly? > Anonymous Strange name. Martin. -- Remember to always speak softly. At some aix level there is a patch to allow the driver to report to the OS if it is sensing a DVI cable and send the output to that port, but no option to choose/share. -- Doing AIX support was the most monty-pythonesque activity available at the time. Eagerly awaiting my thin chocolat mint. |

That's ok, I guess. It would be better if I could control where to send the output though. |
