| We have an AIX 5.1 machine that came with AIX preinstalled. The X server is configured to start the GLX extension (and its buddies), but I get in /tmp/xlogfile: GLX: Failed to load adapter-specific OpenGL code for screen 0 __glXExtensionInit: __glXScreenInit failed and of course GLX doesn't show up in xdpyinfo. I'm guessing that the GXT135P is a relatively new low-end graphics card, but shouldn't OpenGL be supported via software rendering? A quick look in /usr/lpp/gai shows files like '3dm5/loadsoftm5' and so on, which is somewhat encouraging, but apparently not sufficent to get things working. It sort of looks like I am missing a driver for this card or something. Any ideas? Karl |
