Hi all,

I am planning to upgrade the AIX 4.3.3 with HACMP 4.4.1 to AIX 5.x but
I wonder whether they are compatible. Do anyone have experience on
this? Where can I find more document for this?

Hi,

HACMP 4.4.1 is only compatible with AIX 5.1 , but not AIX 5.2
Peek on the following redbook , chapter 8.3
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/SG246924.html.
Right upgrading your AIX you should upgrade HACMP into 4.5 as 4.4.1 no
longer supported by IBM unless you sign TTS (extended service) with
IBM.

A few months i migrate to AIX5.1 ML4 and no problems found with HACMP4.4.1.
I think this is the latest support version.
