"Grumpy" is a test application. It is specifically meant to behave badly, i.e. refuse to start, crash for no apparent reason, kick over the whole machine. In the HACMP class, you're supposed to keep Grumpy Happy ;-) You do this by configuring application monitoring - it restarts Grumpy when it dies. You earn brownie points by leaving your cluster overnight and returning the next morning with Grumpy still running. |
