ls.,

i've just tried to activate the heartbeat over disk in HACMP5.1
i've a disk over ESS available on the three nodes, created a
concurrent volume group on it, created a diskhb network and add
'predefined communication interfaces' in het disk network. This all as
shown in:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...f-8&lang=en+en

But when I run 'Verify and Synchronize HACMP Configuration' i get the
error:
'ERROR: More than 2 serial networks of type net_diskhb_01 on node:
diskhb.'

What went wrong???

The error message is correct. Disk heartbeat is for a pair of
machines. You need 2 more disks for your 3 machine cluster.
