| Hello, I am trying to setup a HACMP cluster on a Single node. I know this sounds stupid. I need to do this for a testing purpose. My RS/6000 has 2 enet interface cards. I need to instll and configure HACMP 5.1 on AIX 5l V5.2.Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks vijay |

It made quite sense then because IBM had delivered just half of the ordered hardware and the admin in charge for the project could not afford to loose any more time. It included a lot (!) of ODM hacking but when the second node was deliverd it integrated smoothly into this cluster (which then became a two node cluster). Nothing that can be explained in a few lines here and I am not sure whether it is possible with HACMP 5.1 at all. However, if you want to do it you might start with taking a close look into the HACMP part of the ODM of a working cluster. Happy hackin' Andreas |
