| No the current version is 5.1, I have just install it this weeks. They change quite a lot of things in the smit screens in this new version, so I don't know if it's possible to upgrade it. I think the best is to resintall it from scratch, you can almost migrate the os quite esealy before. This is what we did in my compagny. -- Ce message a ete poste via la plateforme Web club-Internet.fr This message has been posted by the Web platform club-Internet.fr http://forums.club-internet.fr/ |

Then upgrade HACMP. See below. Upgrade from 4.4.1 (Classic or ES) is possible. Take snapshot, remove 4.4.1 software, install 5.1 software, convert snapshot and apply snapshot. Start your cluster and you are up and running again. When you have only a two node cluster with a single application it is maybe better to configure from scratch. |

If you want to get there online (e.g. node by node) by using cl_convert you need to go from 4.4.1 to 4.5.0 first and then to 5.1.0 second. The direct way without 4.5.0 requires downtime because auf clconvert_snapshot and subsequent apply. HACMP 5.1.0 requires AIX 5.1 ML3 with APAR IY42782 and IY43601 or AIX 5.2 ML1 with APAR IY42783 and IY43602. HTH, Andreas |
