An HMC can have multiple network cards, so I think it is worth trying. From the menus, it only seems possible to set up DHCP services for one interface so if your second p570 is on a different network it would need to have an address set on the SP for the HMC to connect. Remember, you can only do DLPAR if the HMC can contact the LPARS via a network connection. The HMC network does not provide connectivity to LPARS. The HMC though does not actually use the IP addresses (remember when you first assign LPARS in your pSeries system you don't have anything assigned to the adapter cards), as there are other connections that the HMC uses. Are you asking more from a CSM/PSSP standpoint, as commands like rpower, cfmupdate, etc use the HMC for power management? I have an HMC that is on a totally separate public network from the Regattas it manages, but on the same private network so we can use CSM's rpower features for remote power on and off.
