Default How to copy disk data

Aix 4.3.3, 44p-170 failed.
How to copy data from hard disk? If I remember corectly, it is not
possible connect disk to another RS/6000 and read data if vg is not
exported.
Any idea?

No prob. You still can import it on antoher box if attachement is not
an issue.
