| Hi, I have been investigating about ways to build packages on AIX using the AIX native installers. I found out that installp is the native installer for aix. However could not find the way to build packages/images that could be installed using installp. The detailed information provided at http://moka.ccr.jussieu.fr/doc_link/...w4_install.htm did not specify how to actullay build the package. I would like to know the follwoing: 1. Is there a directory herirarchy that is necessary for building packages on aix? 2. Which out of the following should be used for package building process: bffcreate, lppbuild, backup, mklpp Could someone please help me with this? Thanks, Swati |
