how to get the current time in AIX?

Hey all.

Is there any "kernel" function in AIX which outputs the current time
(equivalent to Linux's do_gettimeofday() and Sun's gethrestime() ).

man gettimeofday

?

I think "gettimeofday" is a user level routine. I have to call a
function within the kernel space, which would work like gettimeofday.

Got it. Its -
curtime(&timestruc_t )
need to include time.h for this.
