Hi everybody,

if there someone that have installed aix P670 on SAN HDS 9970V without
internal disk (the connection are through switch 2109). I have some
problems, i see the 2 hba 6239 but when i start in service mode i see
the hba and the cdrom but i don't see the disk. The san are configured
in lun and reserved for this server. Please help meeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

If you're using NIM for your installation add HDS device (odms) drivers
for your storage into lpp_source and SPOT, then at the time of
installation the disks would be visible and you'll be able to install
AIX on them...

Well, them you'll need mksysb tape or DVD that already have HDS device
drivers, so you need a media you can boot off that could detect those
disks...

You probably should check w/IBM to see if your SAN is a supported
boot device. It's probably not.
