| I would like to mount SMB share from Windows 2000 server on AIX5L. I can not install CIFS package bacause it doesn't work with 64 bit kernel... So is it any new version of CIFS or other solution to mount SMB shares on AIX 5.2? |

Or export the filesystems from AIX to windows using Samba, then mount the filesystems on windows using windows-native network drive mapping. Mike |

| Have you not heard of Samba ? http://aixpdslib.seas.ucla.edu/packages/samba.html http://www.samba.org/ And Webmin to administer... many ways to do this, but Webmin is real easy.
