How to recover disk space in AIX 5.x

Hi all,

Could anybody plz let me know how to recover the disk space in AIX5.x.
I have 18GB Hard drive ( 16 Bit LVD SCSI Disk Drive) in IBM RS/6000.
But it just shows 9 GB space mounted. How to recover the rest of the
space with out affecting rest of the configuration.
