how to send automatically the switch key (Arabic/Latin) in my application

I have an Arabic application under AIX 5.1 and my environment variable
LANG is ar_AA; but when I type characters in my Text Field, it is in
Latin. I have to switch by the Keyboard (Alt_R + Shift_R) to switch in
Arabic.
How to send the switch Key sequence in my application.
