installp or rpm? installp or rpm?

Default installp or rpm?
If I'm making packages anyway, is there any preference of
rpm over installp (aix native)?

installp if purely for AIX seems best to me.

That's what I thought, too. The rpm generation seems more simple,
though, and using RPMs seems to provide a method of keeping my/company
packages away from the OS.
