| Hi All, Well if you have a VIO Server and the resource assigned to it fail, then the whole machine would find the failure. For instance if you have a SCSI Adapter, and that fails, then the Virtual SCSI Client adapters should also reflect the same. Warm Regards, Naresh |

If you are going to use VIOS for anything of importance, redundant disk paths and perhaps are a must with consideration recommended for dual VIOS LPARs. G. |
