| I do backups of an ssa array by unmounting the filesystem and running a backup using aix 'backup' command - everything works fine. I try to restore on a different system using 'restore -f/dev/rmt0.1 -i' I consistantly get not enough memory to complete this operation. I have also tried just doing a 'cp -R /raid5 /nfs-mount' and I get the same errors. Both tape drives are the same - the OS level is the same aix 4.3. Ive tried usning different backup options. The block size is the same on both devices... I just cannot do a restore - any ideas what to do next? Thanks in advance Ted Fiedler |
