| Hello, I try to do a network mount from LINUX SuSE 8.2 (xSeries) to a AIX 4.3.3 NFS server but the mount command needs up to 30 minutes to complete. We can issue the mount command and the shell hangs, the mount process could not be killed. Somehow after a very long time (up to 30 minutes) the mount succeeded, the mount process finished and the mounted filesystem could be used without problems. Any suggestions? A timeout is eventually triggered and it works. Add the linux box hostname + IP in your hosts file to see if that helps. Nic. |
